How we create
your home.
Our homes are different. We use unique and intuitive design features to make you feel at home as soon as you get your keys.

As you enter a Northstone home, our entrance ways create a sense of arrival – you know you’ve walked into a place you belong. From the entrance, the view throughout is cleverly designed to give you a hidden glimpse into your future home and the size of the space.
Our properties have high ceilings to create more space to live and we prioritise large windows to create light, bright interiors, as sunlight is proven to boost mental health and make people happier. We’ve incorporated fewer doors downstairs to give a true meaning to ‘open plan living’.
Our feature kitchens come with top of the range appliances and have everything you need for modern living. And we leave the rest of the ground floor for you to decide how you want to use the space.
All our homes offer ample storage, so you have enough room for everything you use regularly, but we’re not encouraging clutter.

Flexible floorplans
Our design team plan with lots of different furniture configurations in mind, so whatever furniture you choose, we know it will work in your home. This also means plug sockets and light switches are in the most considered places for ease of use. And up to a certain build stage you can select your downstairs floor plan, choosing where the kitchen and living room sit, in a layout that works best for your lifestyle.
Clever spaces
Each of the rooms in our homes allows you to maximise the space you have. Our lootility, a clever space that combines a downstairs toilet and a utility room, means your kitchen will remain a stress-free space for your family and guests, by creating a dedicated space for the laundry. In the gardens of larger properties, our *Sheds can be upgraded with windows, electricity and Wi-Fi to give you another flexible space to complement your lifestyle.
Smart home technology
We embrace technology that enhances the way people live. Our homes come with Wondrwall, an intelligent AI-powered smart-home assistant that learns how you live and adapts to your daily routine, as well as a Sonos sound system integrated with Alexa to answer your every need.
Generous rooms
Throughout our homes, we utilise space in the best way and include floor to ceiling windows to create spaces full of natural light. Our homes have taller than average ceiling heights and open floor plans to give our homeowners a spacious place to relax in and the ability to adapt the space to how they want to live.

Using intentionally placed early-maturing trees and plants around our landscapes, we create the beauty and privacy that often comes with established communities, and encourage and enrich biodiversity more rapidly.
Embracing natural
land features
Landscaping at our communities embraces the natural features of the area. Whether that’s rolling hills or a winding river, we always work with, and make the most of, our existing environment.
Enhancing natural habitats
We’re committed to increasing biodiversity on our sites for the benefit of both residents and wildlife. One way we do this is by incorporating bat boxes, bird boxes, and hedgehog-friendly fences to support the movement of local wildlife.
Increasing public spaces and community links
Our neighbourhoods are pedestrian-led, with wider pavements and block paving throughout to give residents somewhere to stop and chat. These additions also mean more breathing space between homes compared to conventional neighbourhood designs and reduce local traffic speeds. The inclusion of two parking spots for each home also reduces on-road parking, and gives you more outdoor space to enjoy.
